Training is a Process, Not an Event

Since 1981, Sales Concepts has provided customized training for people who work in sales, service, telemarketing, and management. Sales Concepts was founded on the philosophy that training should be productive, competitive, tailored for each individual attendee, enjoyable, and that career development is a process - not an event. There is no such thing as a "silver bullet" that works in all markets, for all people. That is why we developed the Sales Concepts Individual Training Program.

Training by Sales Concepts allows your company to develop a continuing, focused training program that is delivered in the time and format that you specify. Our public courses have at least one instructor for every five attendees and in some cases the ratio can be as low as two instructors to three attendees! Individualized specific training promotes effective delivery and maximum benefit to the attendee. Here is how it works.

Before the course

Sales Concepts account reps and the attendee's manager complete a needs assessment to determine the attendee's strengths, weaknesses, and skills that need improvement. A unique scenario is developed for each attendee based on the attendee's product area and clients. This pre-course work ensures the sales situations are realistic and competitive, and that the manager's objectives are accomplished.

During the course

The attendees compete for an order. They call on Sales Concepts instructors who portray actual clients, using the scenarios developed by their managers. This gives the attendees the opportunity to practice and become familiar with the concepts taught in class. A fresh perspective is gained by attendees who experience as well as hear what you want them to do differently. Managers attending Smart Managing have the opportunity to interview, hire, coach and evaluate. The sales calls are either audio taped or video taped for review and discussion. One-on-one feedback is given to each attendee from experienced Sales Concepts instructors.

After the course

Verbal feedback is given to the attendee's manager. For only $200 the attendee will receive a training aid once a month for a year. A continuing education program for Sales, Telesales, On-Site Service, Customer Service, Support People, Buyers and their Managers.

Register for the ITP without attending a course and receive a training aid once a month for an entire year. All subscribers for the Individual Training Program will receive the following items for $300!
